Setur has started its duty-free retailing operations in 1964 and now it is the leading duty-free stores operator in Turkey with 846 employees at 40 shops in 17 regions, which include four airports, five land border gates, seven seaports and one diplomatic store.
Setur operates with 118,000 SKUs therefore, it needed a best of breed Warehouse Management System (WMS) especially for its Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport store to maintain its high level of service quality. Sabiha Gokcen Airport store is Setur's biggest retail location with 3,800 sq.m. of retail space. All the Sabiha Gokcen Airport warehouse and store operations are being handled by LVS.
Logistics Vision Suite (LVS) by Mantis was selected because of its efficiency and flexibility and the ability to run on Microsoft Azure. LVS is already successfully implemented in Setur's Sabiha Gokcen Airport store. The project was effectively implemented by Trinoks A.S., Mantis' experienced partner in Turkey.
The implementation of LVS in Sabiha Gokcen Airport store is just the beginning of the cooperation between Setur and Mantis. After this success, it is expected that LVS will be implemented for all the other high-volume stores of Setur.
